The WCSS
(Wisconsin Coaches Scouting Service) was established in 1983 and our first camp occurred in the summer of 1984. We now operate 9 distinct
camps during six separate time frames- all at Concordia University in Mequon.
Of those 9
CUW sessions offered, three are for boys. Please refer to the Boys
Camps section for specific details. Unlike most camps, we divide
our Concordia camps by age and ability.
We have different formats to maximize
opportunities for young basketball players. Included are:
Middle
School Camps, three Specialized Scoring Camp levels, and girls' Varsity Team
Camps.
The WCSS
camps have earned praise from coaches for 26 years due to our
attention to preparation, detail, repetition of fundamentals, and
teaching methods. Each year we strive to maintain our high
standards while initiating new and
innovative concepts to our camps.
Perennial girls' basketball powers like Grafton, Middleton, Neenah and Brookfield Central have sent their players to WCSS for nearly all of those years.
The dorms are outstanding for 2, 3, or 4 of you...

... the food is excellent;

... the FH has 3 huge courts with 14 baskets and is air conditioned.
Buuck Fieldhouse
An example
of our WCSS extra effort can be seen with our varsity team
camps which include much more than just a dozen games against the state's top teams. We include situational tournaments, team
practices, contests, "above the neck" sessions, team psychology worksheets, and seminars. WIAA officials are hired
to work all of the games.
The BEST girls' teams in Wisconsin come to WCSS EVERY year!

The WCSS is
more than most basketball camps. We offer more and accomplish more
and we do this at a lower cost per session than most camps. What we're most proud of is the quality of teaching that we
present yearly. Each year we hire the best teaching staff
available. College counselors act as assistant coaches and serve
as role models for young players.
